What Candy AI actually costs

Candy.ai has no page on its own site called pricing — the plans live at a subscriptions URL that most write-ups never open, which is why third-party figures for this platform contradict each other so wildly. Below is what that page shows, transcribed exactly, plus the part that costs people money afterwards: the token system and the refund window.

Unofficial fan guide. We earn a commission if you subscribe through our link.

The short answer

One Premium plan sold on four billing terms. Paying month to month costs €13.99. Paying three months up front works out at €8.99 a month, charged as a single €26.97. Paying a year up front works out at €3.99 a month, charged as a single €47.88. Local taxes are added on top and every term renews automatically. There is no separate cheaper tier — the discount is entirely a reward for committing longer.

The plans

Every published plan and what it really charges you

These figures come from the Candy.ai subscriptions page, which is visible without creating an account — you do not need to sign up to see them. We observed the page in euros; we did not observe a US dollar version, so we are not going to quote dollar figures we did not read.

Billing termAdvertised rateDiscount shownWhat is actually charged
12 months€3.99 / mo70% off€47.88 once a year
3 months€8.99 / mo35% off€26.97 once a quarter
1 month€13.99 / mo€13.99 monthly
2 weeks€9.79 per fortnight
1 week€5.60 per week

The 70% and 35% discounts are calculated against the €13.99 monthly rate, which the page shows struck through on the discounted plans. The two-week and weekly options appeared in the page markup alongside the three main plans; we could not establish whether they are shown to every visitor or only in certain conditions.

Read the annual plan carefully. The €3.99 headline is a per-month equivalent, not a €3.99 debit. Choosing it takes €47.88 from your card in one go, and it renews at the same price and term unless you cancel. That is still the cheapest way to use the platform for a year — it is just not a €4 subscription in the sense most people mean.
Free access

Is Candy AI free? There is a free tier, and it is very small

You can use Candy.ai without paying, but not for long. The platform's own help centre spells out exactly what an unpaid account can do, and the limits are total rather than daily.

The seven-day trial

Some Candy.ai marketing pages mention a seven-day trial with full access. We could not find a trial in the terms of service or on the subscriptions page, and the help centre instead documents the hard five-message free tier above. Treat any trial as unconfirmed until you see it at checkout.

Prices in US dollars

Our reading of the subscriptions page returned euros, which is likely determined by location. Third-party sites quote the same digits with a dollar sign, but we did not observe a dollar page ourselves, so we do not state one.

Tokens

The second bill: how tokens work on top of the subscription

Subscribing does not make the platform all-you-can-eat. Candy.ai runs an internal currency called tokens, and a Premium subscription includes an allowance of 100 tokens per month. Understanding what does and does not consume them is the difference between a €47.88 year and a much larger one.

Yearly subscribers still get tokens monthly

Paying for a year does not hand you 1,200 tokens on day one. The allowance arrives each month on your signup day-of-month, while the card is charged only once a year.

Running out means buying more

Once the monthly 100 are gone, image, video and voice features stop until you top up. Candy.ai has a dedicated help article answering why an active subscriber is being asked to buy tokens — which tells you how often this surprises people.

Tokens do not convert back

The terms of service state tokens are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for money. Unused balance is not a store of value.

The price of a token pack

The token shop requires a login, so there is no public price list to quote. The only first-party number we found describes 200 tokens as a twenty-dollar value, in a help article about referrals — a valuation, not a price on sale.

There is a higher tier, and its price is not published. Candy.ai documents a Premium Plus level offering 230 tokens a month, a 10% bonus on token top-ups, access to new characters three days before general release, and five clone chats. We could not find a price for it on the subscriptions page or anywhere else public — so if you are quoted one at checkout, that figure is new information, not something you can check in advance.
Discounts

Candy AI promo codes: what we found when we actually looked

Search for a Candy AI coupon and you will get a page of sites confidently offering different numbers. In a single search we saw the same brand advertised at 20%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 95% and 100% off — simultaneously, by different coupon aggregators. Those cannot all be true, and coupon farms generate that content automatically whether or not a code exists.

We could not verify a single working public promo code for Candy.ai. What we can verify is the discount the platform publishes itself, on its own subscriptions page, with no code required:

If a code exists at all, it would have to beat 70%, which is why the 95% and 100% claims are worth treating as what they look like. Our advice is unglamorous: take the annual term if you already know you want the platform, take the monthly if you do not, and do not spend an evening pasting codes into a checkout.

If Candy.ai publishes a genuine promotional code we can confirm, it will appear here with the source next to it, like everything else on this site.

Refunds

The refund rule is tight, and it has a second condition

This is the clause most reviews of Candy.ai skip, and it is the one that decides whether a purchase you regret is recoverable. It has two parts, and you need to pass both.

  1. Twenty-four hours. The terms of service state you have 24 hours after payment to request a refund, and that no refund will be issued for a request made after that.
  2. Token usage. For a subscription, the refund is refused if more than 20 tokens have been used. For a token package, the rule is stricter still — using your tokens disqualifies the purchase.
  3. Card payments only. The refund terms cover subscriptions and token packages bought by card. If you paid with cryptocurrency, a wallet or a bank transfer, refund eligibility is not covered by that clause.
  4. Cancelling is not requesting. Cancelling a subscription does not trigger a refund. Candy.ai's own help centre has an article for people who cancelled and are waiting for money that was never going to arrive — you have to ask support separately.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you have a second, stronger right. The terms grant a 14-day right of withdrawal on an initial purchase, expiring 14 days from the date of the purchase confirmation email. That is a statutory consumer right and it sits alongside — not inside — the 24-hour rule above. If you are inside 14 days of a first purchase and outside the 24-hour window, this is the clause to cite.

Two further exclusions worth knowing: there is no refund for content that was moderated or removed for a policy violation, and none for characters or features the platform itself removes or changes.

Step-by-step: cancelling, requesting a refund and deleting the account →

Paying

Payment methods and what shows on your statement

Candy.ai accepts credit and debit cards, cryptocurrency, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer via Volt and Pix. The named payment processors in its privacy policy are Emerchantpay, TrustPay, Volt, Coingate and UpGate.

The charge appears on a card statement as EverAI — the operating company's name — rather than anything containing the word Candy. Two separate first-party sources state this: the subscriptions page and a dedicated help centre article. It is worth remembering both ways round: it keeps the platform name off your statement, and it is also why an unfamiliar EverAI line is not a fraudulent charge.

One caveat we could not resolve: the statement descriptor is documented specifically for card payments. We could not confirm what appears for cryptocurrency, wallet or bank-transfer payments.
